World Poker news

Farid Yachou (spread picture) of Netherlands composed his name in the poker-history books, by bringing down the main ever World Poker Tour (WPT) Tournament of Champions at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino for a total of $381,600 and a bundle of sumptuous treats worth $150,000. With this Yachou has roughly $600,000 in live competition profit.

For Yachou this was his second competition title, with the first being the WPT Amsterdam, which got him to the WPT Tournament of Champions in any case. Yachou's triumph was just about not happening, as the man has a gigantic apprehension of flying and this was his first excursion to America, one he made with a late visa.

Subsequent to beating the other 63 candidates, a grinning Yachou expressed, "It's something I can't accept. I am situated with just champions.
